Mops

The MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) Chapter at Peachtree exists to encourage and equip mothers of young children.

We invite you to belong to this group of women who are joining Christ daily in the restoration of all things.

We have both Morning and Evening MOPS groups that meet regularly from September through May.

The MOPS Chapter at Peachtree helps us to gather and support one another. Our mission is to encourage and equip mothers of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is MOPS?

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) is designed to encourage, nurture, and support mothers of preschoolers. We come together from all age groups and backgrounds with a shared desire to be the best moms, wives, and Christian women that we can be. We invite you to visit MOPS International to learn more.

Who can attend?

We welcome all mothers in the infant and preschool phase of motherhood, as well as adoptive, foster and expectant mothers!

Can I bring my newborn to the meeting?

Absolutely! Moms are encouraged to bring their newborns to meetings, and breastfeeding is welcome!

Can I come visit a MOPS group before joining?

Yes! Moms can visit Peachtree MOPS twice before joining. Please email us to schedule your visit.

Where do I park / go for MOPS meetings?

Tuesday Morning MOPS meets in the Summit Room of the Lodge at Peachtree Church, located at 3417 Roswell Road. If you do not have children going to the nursery, please feel free to park in the parking deck attached to The Lodge. If you are dropping your children off at the nursery on the main campus of the church at 3434 Roswell Road, then you can park in the parking lot behind or to the right of the church. Once inside the nursery, friendly MOPS moms will direct you to The Lodge, where MOPS events take place.

What if I can’t afford the registration fee?

MOPS wants to be available to you! If money is an issue and you desire to attend MOPS, then please email us.

About what percentage are first-time moms?

You can expect to meet many women who are first-time mothers in our group. You will also find women who have three children (or more, in some cases).

Do I have to be active at Peachtree Church to attend?

You do not have to be a member of or attend Peachtree to come to MOPS.

What is the median age of the woman attending?

The ages of our mothers range from early 20s to late 40s. We also have “mentor moms” (more seasoned mothers who have “been there, done that”) who sit at each of our tables to offer advice, support and an extra hand with the newborns.

Do you offer refunds?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for nursery fees or MOPS registration past August 15.

I have more questions! Whom should I contact?
